Saadani National Park is the only park in Tanzania that lies on the coast of the Indian Ocean. With a size of only about 200 square kilometers, which is less than Los Angeles, and its location 130 kilometers north of Dar Es Salaam, the park is ideal for a visit in combination with a beach vacation. In addition to the common East African wildlife, there are special species such as crocodiles, colobus monkeys and sable antelopes to be seen. You can also go on a nature walk with a park ranger or a boat safari on the Wami River in Saadani National Park.
